MEETING IN SINT MICHAELSCHOOL in GRONINGEN



In Sint Michaelschool Groningen we learned about Dutch painters: Karel Appel, Piet Mondrian, Herman Brood, Vincent van Gogh, Rembrandt and Corneille. And the painters of our partners : Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis ( Lithuania), Salvador Dali ( Spain),Osman Hamdi Bey ( Turkey) , Joseph Mallord William Turner ( the UK) , Nicolae Grigorescu ( Romania) and Jacek Malczewski ( Poland). There were exhibitions, Powerpoint presentations, dramas, costumes... Great artists, great stories!

Getting ready for Feel it through ART meeting.

Our Art teacher Jolanta Kawalec chose a representative of Symbolism Jacek Malczewski as a painter to present to our partners in project. Pupils looked at his paintings especially the one called "Angel, I will follow you" and created their own pictures. The best works were taken to Groningen.
